Solitary Reveries

Grey goose summers float

on filmy cobwebs,

Seeming unperturbed by

sizzling daffodils in repose below.

Another night may be less

mesmerizing, but for now

Eternity rests in webbed hammocks,

lost in

Reveries of retirement
